I am a VOLUNTEER. I donate my time to sharing these living legends, my gas to drive down the facility, and countless hours sharing these beauties online and answering questions. All of this happens between my full time job and family life. I spend mere minutes evaluating each horse, so sometimes my statements about temperament or estimates on height may not be accurate. I do NOT book shippers. I help adopters find others in their area to create a load. Adopters are responsible for booking the shipper. I can recommend shippers to use that are BLM approved. I support the BLM and the staff at Canon City 100%. They are amazing and caring people who only want the best for these horses. I am lucky to have the privilege of taking these photographs and sharing them with you. Please respect the fact that this is a privilege, and not a right. And if everyone is happy and understands these facts I hopefully will be allowed to continue doing this in the future

Tag 0089, 5 year old mare, gathered in 2011 from Piceance/East Douglas. About 13.3 to 14h.
​Tag 0095, 5 year old mare. Apparently we missed writing down her tag number, so I don't know her HMA. She's about 15h and bigger build.
​Tag 0141, 5 year old mare. Smaller, about 13.2, friendly. Gathered in 2011 from Piceance/East Douglas.
Tag 0169, 5 Year old mare. Smaller, maybe 14h. Super super friendly! Very stout.
​Tag 1795, 5 year old mare. Born in Canon City, out of a WY Mare. About 14.1 or 14.2
Tag 7869, 5 Year old mare. From Salt Wells, from the 2014 Checkerboard gather. Smaller mare, about 13.2 to 13.3h.
Tag 8561, 5 Year old mare. About 14.1 to 14.2 hands. Gathered in 2011 from Divide Basin, WY.
Tag 9173, 5 year old pony mare. Very small, maybe 11 hands. Curious, stayed close, but wouldn't let me touch her. Very nice build for a pony!
Tag 9241, 5 Year old mare. About 14.2h. Gathered from Divide Basin in the 2014 Checkerboard gather.
Tag 9542, 5 Year old mare.. About 13.2 hands. Super friendly, wouldn't stay far enough away for pics. Gathered in 2011, From Crooks Mtn, WY.
Tag 5721, 4 year old mare. About 14.2 hands, curious and somewhat friendly. Unique "Llama" blaze. Born in LTH in New Mexico.
Tag 7942, 4 year old liver chestnut mare with 4 white feet. About 14 hands. Curious, but wouldn't let us touch her.

Tag 7989, 6 year old Mare from Adobe Town, WY. About 14.2 hands. Was friendly and curious. Was able to scratch her face and love on her a little bit.
Tag 8157, 6 year old Mare from Adobe Town, WY. About 13.3 or 14 hands. Was very friendly and curious! Seems to be very willing and would be good for a beginner adopter

Tag 8289, 7 year old mare from Adobe Town, WY. This girl is about 14.3, but super stocky. Friendly and curious.

Tag 8599, 5 year old dun mare from Divide Basin, WY. This girl is around 15 hands, and well built. Friendly and curious, we were able to pet all over her.
​Tag 8640, 5 year old bay mare with appy traits. Whitish rings around both eyes. Around 14.3 to 15h. Hard to photograph because she wouldn't come out of the middle of the herd. Friendly and seemed calm

Tag 9839, 5 year old pinto mare with an incredible mane! Gathered in Crooks Mtn, WY. Probably 14.1 or 14.2, couldn't get close enough to accurately guess.
Tag 9847, 5 year old mare. Maybe 14 hands, friendly and curious. Gathered in 2011 from White Mtn, WY.
Tag 7891, 6 year old Mare from Salt Wells, WY. About 14.1 hands. Was very friendly and loved being scratched. Would be good for a beginner adopter.
